Dear Fairmont families,
The last week of school is upon us. I wanted to make sure you are aware of some of the many things happening on campus this week.
Monday, June 13 - Yearbooks will be distributed at the end of the school day to students who pre-ordered. Students are welcome to bring their yearbooks to school and ask friends to sign them. Please remind your child(ren) about respecting other people’s yearbooks and only writing positive and appropriate messages.
Yearbook Reminders - If you have not purchased a yearbook and want one, we have a limited number of yearbooks available for sale. We will be selling yearbooks on a first come, first served basis. Heather Cilderman will be in front of Fairmont on Tuesday, June 14, (in front of the marquee) selling yearbooks (8:00-8:20 am & 2:30 - 3:00pm). She will be accepting cash or checks only in the amount of $45 for each yearbook.
Tuesday, June 14 - We are encouraging everyone to wear red, white, and blue for Flag Day. We will be having a schoolwide assembly on the blacktop from 8:25-8:45. Parents are invited to attend.
Wednesday, June 15 - We will follow the normal early release schedule. TK students are on their regular schedule. Students in grades K-6th will be released at 1:47 pm.
Thursday, June 16 - The schedule for the last day of school is a modified minimum day. All TK students will follow the early bird schedule and come to school from 8:22-11:42. Students in K-6th will attend school from 8:22-12:32. Students will enjoy a twenty minute recess and a thirty minute lunch. The Clap Out will start at about 12:25 on the blacktop. (See diagram here.) Parents who would like to attend are asked to enter through the D-Village gate and remain on the blacktop just south of our D-Village classrooms. Our 6th graders and retiring teachers will start at the south end of campus and walk through and be celebrated. They will end their journey at D-Village. Please remember not to park in D-Village. The drive thru line and bus parking must remain clear at all times.
Friday, June 17 - Summer begins!
We still have many items in our Lost & Found. All of these items will be donated on Friday, June 17. Please stop by and take a look by the end of the day on Thursday, June 16. Hopefully you can find some long lost items.
Thanks for your help and support in making the last week of the 2021-22 school year a wonderful experience for all.
Best,
Mrs. San Roman
Mrs. Mulcahy
