Hello Fairmont Families!
We have had two great weeks back together with our new schedule! Please read these reminders so we can finish strong and have smooth sailing through June 17th!
1. If you have not yet completed the Google form regarding your plans for fall sent last week, please do so. It helps us plan for the number of classrooms and teachers needed.
2. Mask-wearing is still required all day except while eating. Students have been very cooperative. Just want to remind you that this requirement has not changed.
3. Fairmont has a dress code that requires students to be appropriately dressed for school - no negative or political messages on shirts, shorts must reach mid-thigh, shirts must cover mid-section when arms are raised, no spaghetti straps, no sandals or flip-flops. As the weather is getting warmer, please watch what your child is wearing to school.
4. No "drop-offs" for forgotten items such as assignments, instruments, water bottles, or lunches. We provide a school lunch at no cost if a student needs to eat. We also have cups and a water bottle filling station to keep students hydrated. Please label backpacks, lunchboxes, and water bottles with your child's name - there is no lost and found. Lost items will be donated.
5. From our superintendent:
These notes are a bit lengthy - Thank you for reading through them and for your support of our Fairmont Staff! We appreciate you.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Rex
Principal

5. From our superintendent:
- Students are not permitted to switch between in-person and remote learning for the remainder of the school year. Students who attend in-person instruction will be marked absent if they are not physically present on campus Monday through Friday at elementary schools and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at secondary schools. The only exception would be if the student has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or is under mandatory COVID-19 quarantine.
- Classroom Zoom links are provided for all remote learners and any in-person student who is quarantined.
These notes are a bit lengthy - Thank you for reading through them and for your support of our Fairmont Staff! We appreciate you.
Sincerely,
